Pathways
Shortly after graduating in Architecture and Urbanism (UFPR + TU München), I co-founded the architecture studio Aleph Zero, whose work received recognition through national and international publications and awards. Amid achievements and adversities, I began to sense that some meaning was missing, both in what I was doing and in the way I was living my hours. A desire for something different, more aligned with my nature, gradually began to take shape.
One day, through rather winding paths, Man and His Symbols by C. G. Jung found its way to me. There I found, in words and images, many ideas, observations, and inquietudes that I had intuited but had been unable to articulate. It felt as though invisible hands loosened a constant tightness in my chest, and more air could finally flow through my body.
In parallel, by paths no more straightforward, I came across The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk, which deepened my interest in the lens of trauma as another way of working with unconscious patterns.
Along this path, I completed a training in Psychotraumatology and continue my studies through the Somatic Experiencing training program at the Brazilian Trauma Association.
The transition into clinical work was not planned, it emerged through requests from friends and colleagues interested in the themes I had been studying: dreams, complexes, imagination, and the personal and collective unconscious.
Over time, the therapeutic work took on a central place in my professional life.
And, in addition to my private practice, I am part of the team of therapists at SPD Mãe Providência, a social project that offers free therapeutic support to people in vulnerable situations with a history of trauma.
I continue, through the ongoing study of psychology, my own analysis, clinical supervision, and the practice of active imagination – along the path of the many encounters between “I”s and others.
